Lu's school of acupuncture and moxibustion is one of worldwide most influential schools of acupuncture and moxibustion in recent and present times' China. This article deals with the development of Lu's school of acupuncture and moxibustion, and the situation of and measures for the inheritance, from the historical source, major characteristics, inheritance research and protective measures.
