Abstract
The experiment in the production of ethanol by fermentation of sweet sorghum stalk was carried out,the results showed that the cellulose content in sweet sorghum stalk powder pretreated with 2.0% NaOH + 2.0% HCl could reach 52.56%,being significantly higher than that in untreated sweet sorghum stalk powder.Pretreatment of sweet sorghum stalk powder with 2.0% HCl + 2.0% NaOH had better saccharification effect than other treatments.As the saccharification temperature was at 50 ℃ or the pH-value of the reaction system was 5.0,the saccharification rate of sweet sorghum stalk powder was the highest.The optimum enzyme supplement for the saccharification was 15 IU/g.Among three kinds of mutant strains,the ethanol yield through lwl79 fermentation was the highest,being 15.48 g/L.
