A method for ontology negotiation based on meta-ontology

Abstract

Ontology,which is shared formal conceptual model of a domain,is an effective tool to automotive service discovery,ontological heterogeneity blokes the sharing and integration of knowledge.The paper presents a novel method that combines the theory of meta-ontology and ontology negotiation.Due to introduce meta-ontology into the process of ontology negotiation,the method improves the efficiency of ontology negotiation as well as provides an external standard that imply agents reach consensus.At last,it illustrates the process of ontology negotiation based on meta-ontology using a simple example.
