Study of Species Composition on the Ectoparasitical Acarinids of the Rodent in Frontiers of Northeast China

To catch rodents with cage and collect ectoparasitical acarinids of the rodent,study species composition of ectoparasit-ical ticks,gamasid mites and chigger mites on the rodent in frontiers of Northeast China.The results indicated that 16 565 acarinids belonged to 39 species and 16 genera on 9 species rodents from 6 couties in frontiers of Northeast China,of which ticks belonged to 4 species and 3 genera,gamasid mites were 20 species and 8 genera,chigger mites were 15 species and 5 genera.The predominant species of ticks were Ixodes persulcatus(75.6%);gamasid mites were Laelaps jettmari(25.5%) and Eulaelaps stubularis(21.1%);chigger mites were Netrombicula pomeranzevi(35.0%) and Netrombicula gardellai(22.7%).The mostly species composition of ectoparasitical ticks,gamasid mites and chigger mites on rodents varies with different rodent species.
