On the Construction and Application of Characteristic Collections of University Library under the New Situation

This paper expounds the importance of constructing characteristic collections in university library, and introduces the principles and ways of constructing characteristic collections in university library, and discusses how university library to utilize the literature resources of characteristic collections to develop and the service for readers.
