Abstract

Objective To evaluate the epidemiological effect of Supplemental immunization activities(SIAs) of measles vaccine.Method Epidemic situation network system data of disease control and prevention had been used to analyze the spatial, temporal and population characteristics of measles after SIAs.Results All kinds of index of SIAs had reached the target.Inoculation rates were above 95%.The measles cases in 2009 had decreased 80.29% compared with 2008.Constituent ratios of 8 month~14years old target population case were 51.58% and 41.48% respectively in 2008 and 2009.There had statistical difference in the incidence between 2008 and 2009 of floating population(P 0.05).The scattered children and the areas concentrated with floating population showed higher incidence of the disease. Conclusions The SIAs of measles vaccine in 2009 showed a positive effect on the control of measles epidemic situation. It established the good basic for the following supplemental immunization activities and the target of eradicating measles.
