Abstract

Objective: To verify the the effect of Shenfu(SF) Injection on TGF-β1 and IL-1β in paraquat intoxication. Methods: Measurements were determined at 7th,28th days post exposure.Fibrosis level of pulmonary fibrosis in acute paraquat intoxication was detected by HE.The intensity of expression of TGF-β1,IL-1β was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results: The intensity of the TGF-β1 and IL-1βmeasured by immunohistochemistry was significantly lower in SF treated groups compare with the rats of acute paraquat intoxication model.SF 12 mL/kg can influence the intensity of the TGF-β1 and IL-1β expression significantly compare with other groups. Conclusion: SF injection could alleviate the lung injury and fibrosis from reducing the expression of TGF-β1 and IL-1β.SF injection may have a role in diminishing the level of pulmonary fibrosis induced by acute paraquat intoxication by reducing inflammatory reaction.SF injection is a effective medicine to treat pulmonary fibrosis induced by acute paraquat intoxication.
