Germplasm Resources of Wild Fruit Trees and Their Utilization in Taijiang County

The germplasm resources of wild fruit trees are distributed along Qingshui, Wumi, Taijiang and Bala river and their branches, and vertically scattered over the broad leaved evergreen forest and shrub at the altitude below 1000m. They are divided into evergreen formed tree, evergreen shrub, deciduous formed tree, deciduous shrub and ligrified lianes according to the botanical characters. The resources are rich but having been destroyed seriously and not being used comprehensively till now. The conditions of temperature, soil, water and light are important factors for successful introduction and culture.
