A Criticism on Wang Jinggong's Style in Cang Lang Shi Hua

Wang Anshi's poem works,which was created in the later years of his life,was well respected in Song Dynasties,but there was great difference between Northern Song and Southern Song Dynasty.The former preferd his Style of Typical Mildness and Graceful,but the later specially emphasized the literature style of Jueju poems,and regarded it as the model of poem.In his monograph Cang Lang Shi Hua,Yan Yu's point,which is bases on the ordinary theory in Southern Song Dynasty,is that Wang Jinggong Style refers to Wang's Jueju works of the his later years.The poetics theory of Wang Jinggong Style mainly origins from Du Fu and various poet schools in late Tang Dynasty,so it caused Yan Yu to believe that Wang Jinggong Style is inferior to styles that poets created in Tang Dynasty, these comments also reveal that the poetics theory of Yah Yu is characterized by respecting Tang and looking down upon Song.
