Abstract
This paper matches the database of industrial enterprise and the General Administration of Customs of China to test the influence mechanism of manufacturing enterprise RD on imports of capital goods and intermediate goods. The research results show that:( 1) The existence of in learning of the enterprise can promote the RD investment of enterprises to a certain extent.( 2) The promotion effect on enterprise research and development has obvious differences,w hich is mainly embodied in capital goods imports but not in intermediate goods.( 3) The promotion of RD investment enterprise is related to the source of imports and import enterprises' level of technology.
