Abstract
Objective To study the effect of Jinwugutong capsule(JWGTC)on osteoporosis in ovariectomized rats in order to provide evidence for its clinical application.Methods Sixty SD female rats at the age of 6 months were randomly divided into 6 groups.An osteoporosis model was established by ovariotomy.The rats were given drugs after 12 weeks.Bone mineral density(BMD),bone biomechanics and biochemical indexes were measured after 24 weeks.Results JWGTC improved BMD,bone biomechanics and biochemical indexes.Conclusion Osteoporosis can be cured with JWGTC.
