Abstract

The growth of economic aggregate is based on the growth of various industrial sectors.Modern economic growth mode is essentially a structure-oriented growth, namely the core of the economic growth is the change of industrial structure. The elements efficiency has a direct impact on economic growth. Therefore,it is significant for studying economic growth to find out the impact of the industrial scale and elements efficiency from the point of industrial structure.Domestic and foreign scholars have made numerous studies on this topic, using of a great deal of research methods. This paper employs a multilevel model as a technique, conducts an empirical analysis for the impact of China's industrial structure, industrial scale and elements efficiency, using the national macro-economic data from 1979 to 2007.The results show that the multi-level model can fit the data well and reasonably explain the real economic phenomenon.
