Abstract
Municipal sewage reuse is a way to save clean and top-quality water by recycling treated sewage to places where it can be used. It is one of the effective measures to ease the problem of freshwater shortage in China. Feasibility in developing municipal sewage reuse in China is discussed in this article from three aspects, including technology, economy, as well as environment. The result shows that municipal sewage reuse not only has been mature in its technology, but also is economically and environmentally feasible in China. Besides, the article suggests that China should enhance the development of municipal sewage reuse actively, reasonably, and rationally.
