Abstract

In the present years, the environmental problems that are caused by the heavy metals are becoming more and more serious. The main sources of heavy metal pollution is the mining activities.Compared to physical and chemical remediation, phytoremediation has many merits, such as lower cost, maintain the original structure of soil, less possible to cause secondary pollution.Besides,it will not only beautify our environment, but also can be easily accepted by the public. So it's very bright and useful to research the phytoremediation. This article summarizes the phytoremediation in mined land in the following three parts: phytostabilization, phytoextraction, synergistic use of plants and bacteria.
