Abstract
Linear programming mainly solves the optimizing problem.This paper studies linear programming theory and its application in transportation problems.This paper firstly introduces basic characteristics of transportation problem.Then it deeply analyses the optimizing of transportation problem with examples.Besides,linear programming mathematical model of transportation problem is established.At last,the model is applied in some special transportation problem,thus the optimizing project is obtained,which will increase economy benefit in transportation.
