Abstract
The safety requirements in the mechanical field and the basic principle of Siemens safety integrated technology are introduced firstly in this paper. Then the method and process of the safety-related hardware and software design of the electrical control system on the CNC machine are shown by taking the horizontal turning center HTC40100zy as an example,on which the Siemens safety integrated technology was applied. Finally,the idea is brought out that it is necessary and significant to apply the safety integrated technology on CNC machine tools.
