Abstract
Gene therapy may become one of the effective approaches for cancer.Vectors used to carry foreign genes play an important role in cancer gene therapy.Among the currently developed virus vectors, the adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector is of many advantages, such as safety, expression in long-term and wide host range. It has been widely used in gene therapy. This review describes the basic biology of AAV,recent progress on AAV vector and AAV-mediated therapeutic vectors for cancer gene therapy.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
