Abstract
As an alternative and renewable energy,biodiesel had received worldwild attention.Study on the solid catalysts for catalyzing tansesterification to produce biodiesel was a focus at present.The research status of solid acid and base catalysts were studied both at home and abroad. The advantages,disadvantages and dificiency of various kinds of solid catalyst were compared and the research tendency of the solid catalysts were proposed.
