The Impact on the Upgrade of Manufacturing Industry Made by the Integration of Productive Service and Manufacturing Industry:Based on Comparative Analysis of Beijing and Yangtze River Delta

Tow important reasons for the upgrade made by the integration of productive service and manufacturing industry:the separation of manufacturing sectors and service sectors in the manufacturing enterprise reduces the setup costs and helps to form the core competence of the enterprise;the socialized specialization is conductive to economies of scale and the interaction of manufacturing industry and productive service on production-related association. Historical experiences witness that the most important reason,why the developed countries has been able to occupy the top of the global value chains,is that continuous investment in modern service industry includes technology, knowledge and human capital,so that the overall industrial structure is adjusted to thesofteningtrend.Through the comparison of input-output table of Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang,as well as the whole nation in 2002,it indicates that Beijing can be more use of external service in the process of manufacturing production;through the quantitative inspection of the panel data of manufacturing industry between 2000 and 2005 in Beijing,Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang,the result shows that the development of external service industry will contribute to the improvement of the manufacturing labor productivity,in which value added services in Beijing increased by 1 percentage point would make the manufacturing sector Labor productivity increased 0.648 percentage points.
