Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical features of pulmonary infection in patients after renal transplantation. Methods Data of 98 cases of pulmonary infection after renal transplantation were analyzed retrospectively. Results The rate of pulmonary infection was 14.96%.The infection was mainly cytomegalovirus(CMV) pneumonia within 3 months and bacterial pneumonia after 3 months. The cure rate was 79.59% and mortality rate was 20.41%.The curative ratio of mixed infections was lower than of other infections(P0.05) and the mortality rate was higher(P0.05).Conclusions The incidence of pulmonary infection after renal transplantation is high.Early diagnosis,anti-infection and adjustment of the immunization program are the key to treat such infections.
