Abstract
Furfural and acetic acid content in corn stover hydrolysate was determinated by gas chromatography. The resolution of furfural and acetic acid was 4.7 and their linear relation coefficient of standard curve exceeded 0.999. The relative standard deviations (RSD) of furfural and acetic acid were 3.36 % and 3.99 % respectively. The mean recoveries of two samples standard addition test were 100.2 % and 99.2 % respectively. The results suggested that the method was simple to operate with high sensitivity and satisfactory precision and accuracy.
