On Enterprise Competition and Cooperation after Joining WTO

Joining WTO is both an opportunity and a challenge for Chinese enterprises. Faced with increasingly keen competition, Chinese enterprises will produce impetus, be invigorated and be developed at a high level. While competing with fully reinforced big foreign enterprises Chinese enterprises will reveal their weakness of being small in scale. They need to cooperate with each other and unite against foreign. The government will have to exercise necessary guidance and control on the competition and cooperation of enterprises to prevent them from becoming monopolies that will hinder economic development.
