Abstract

Using the cotyledon and hypocotyl explants of four cultivars (Liuye, Qiye, Jiuye and Changqie) of eggplants, we studied the influence of different growth regulating substances on explant differentiation and the regeneration differences among donor tissue of different genotypes, explants and ages. The polarity of explant regeneration was observed. High efficient regeneration systems of hypocotyl of four cultivars were established.
