Review of Research on the Bidirectional Interaction between Producer Services and Manufacturing Industries

In a flexible and information-oriented economy,producer services,as an intermediate input factor,has been more and more fused with manufacturing industries.Many subjects have taken part in the research on the bidirectional interaction between producer services and manufacturing industries from 1980s.Based on the literature review,this paper summarizes the research progress in three aspects as follow: prevalent perspectives of immanent relationship,space characteristics and research methods on the bidirectional interaction between producer services and manufacturing industries.Finally,some points that should be paid attention to in the future are put forward.
