Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of colpscopy on the clinical diagnosis of cervical disease. Methods A total of 210 cervical cases underwent colposcopy and biopsies performed in the tongji hospitai of foshan from Nov.2003 to Oct.2004.Results 13 cases confirmed with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN); 3cases with cervical infiltrating tumor;\176 cases with cervical chronic inflammation; 18 cases with human papilloma virus(HPV) infection. Conclusions Colposcopy can play important role in diagnosis and treating carcinoma of cervices, CIN and HPV at early stage.
