Outlining the Time of the Book, Zhou Li,Compiled and its Authenticity

It is an unsettled dispute since the Han Dynasty that whether the book, Zhou Li—a classical book in ancient China, is genuine or fake and when the book was completed. Despite few people believe the theory that Zhou Li was written by Zhou Gong or was forged by Liu Xin on the basis of the modern scholar's study, there are still other theories, such as the book was written in the former Zhou Dynasty, in the Spring and Autumn Period, in the Warring States Period, between the Zhou Dynasty and the Qin Dynasty and in the former Han Dynasty. This article focuses on the overall analysis of those theories and ends with the conclusion that the theory that Zhou Li was written in the Warring States Period is relatively fit, and it was a work that hadn't completed originally. The book, Kao Gong Ji-a recordation of handicraft industry, which was added in Zhou Li by the Han People, was completed in the Warring States Period, too.
