Clinical Analysis of Condylar Position Measurement

It is important to determine the positions of temporal-mandibular joint(TMJ) and condyle for orthodontic treatment.The articulator condylar position measurement is the practicable and scientific method in many ways of measuring the condylar position.The condylar position is stabilized with gnathologic splint and the TMJ will be harmonized to improve the symptom.The use of gnathologic splint allows a better disc-condyle relation whilst the temporally recovered disc-condyle relation favors tissue adaptation or repair.
