Constructing three big cities in Ningxia in the form of combined city groups——a basic research on the city zone along the Yellow River in Ningxia

With the theory of combined city groups,this paper studies the problems of developing city groups along the Yellow River.Through the evaluating analysis on the cities development along the Yellow River in Ningxia,the writer puts forward 3+2 developing mode of the town system of Ningxia,and thinks that the city economy of Ningxia can hardly carry out large-scale gathering of the business enterprises and large-scale city extension during short time,especially Wuzhong,Qingtongxia and Shizuishan which will fix their targets on the middle-sized cities,and believes that it is more reasonable for them to combine into big cities and become three big cities of Yinchuan,Wuzhong and Shizuishan in the form of combined city groups.At the same time,paying attention to the economic contact between Zhongwei City and Guyuan city and peripheral towns of the districts should be the important policy choice to realize the urbanization in Ningxia.
