Abstract
Objective To observe clinical curative effects of applying continuous positive airway pressure for therapy patients with general or severe obstruction type sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome for 2 years. Methods 48 cases of patients with general or severe OSAHS were treated by CPAP for 2 years. The clinical symptoms, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose, repeated hospitalizations and every time hospitalization days were observed before and after treatment. Results After 2 years for CPAP comprehensive therapy, all observation indexes of patients were improved, and had no obvious side effects. Conclusion Long-term CPAP comprehensive treatment is safe and effective, and is worthy of being widely used in clinic.
