Abstract
With the rapid development of GIS and CAD,more and more spacial data have been collected. However, for different GIS application softwares, the format of special data may be completely different, which makes the share and reuse of data between different GIS platforms be a serious problem. To solve it,a novel method of data conversion between AutoCAD and GIS is proposed.First, the storage mechanism of GIS data is described and the traditional methods of data conversion are discussed. Then with the technology of ObjectARX and XML,the parsing and conversion of GIS data are implemented based on KML.The experiments illustrate that the proposed method is effective, and can realize the efficient data-sharing between different platforms, which greatly improved the development efficiency.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
