Abstract

The Huns were split into the north and south parts in the early Han Dynasty. The south Huns, who surrendered to the Han government settled down in the interior of Han. The Han and Jin central governments' rule went through conversion from conciliation to dividing domination, which brought a lot of influence to the leading core, economy, culture and national mentality of the south Huns.
