Curative Effects of Edaravone Combined with Sodium Ozagrel on Acute Cerebral Infarctio

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of Edaravone and sodium ozagrel on acute cerebral infarction.Methods This study was designed as a case-control study.Data was prospectively collected from 96 patients with acute cerebral infarction inpatients in our department from Feb 2011 to Mar 2012.96 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group(48 cases) and control group(48 cases).Patients in both groups were given routine treatment.The treatment group(48 cases) was treated with Edaravone 30 mg iv drip bid for 14 days,and sodium ozagrel 80 mg iv,drip bid for 14 days,while the control group(48 cases) was treated with sodium ozagrel 80 mg iv drip bid for 14 days.The neurological deficit scores to carry on the curative effect comparison were examined before and after treatment in both groups.Results After a course of 14 days,the total effective rate was(85.42%) in the unite treatment group and 68.75% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).The difference in the nerve function damage between the two groups was statistical significant(P0.01).There was no adverse reaction in both groups.Conclusion Edaravone combined with sodium ozagrel is effective and safe in the treatment of acute brain infarction.
