Survey on School Students' Body Surface Area in Tujia Nationality Towns

In order to find out and determine the morphology index of middle and primary school students' body surface area of Tujia nationality, this paper makes a survey on it with Stevenson Formula, which is suitable for the Chinese. The findings show that 1) their body surface area increases with their age and both male and female students' increasing speed can be divided into three periods, namely, normal, high-speed and slow increase periods. 2) Male and female students' body surface area curves displays a double cross that of female exceeds male's at the age of 11,while that of male's exceeds female's at 14; after the age of 15, the difference gradually increase to a remarkable degree.
