Additions to the English Grammar by The Cambridge Grammar of the English Language(2002)

The Cambridge Grammar of the English Language(2002) has expanded the English grammar by adding what is not shown in previous English grammatical books.The additions cover such grammatical categories and structures as nouns,determiners,pronouns,verbs,prepositional phrases,negation,coordination and subordination,including new forms(e.g.the progressive form of own),new meanings(e.g.the past perfect in an unreal conditional clause expressing a present or future situation),and new functions(e.g.whom used as subject of a relative clause).
