Research Progress of TCM Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Glomerular Hematuria

Chinese medicine has good efficacy in treating glomerular hematuria,but the unified standards of the basic experiment,syndrome differentiation and efficacy determination haven't been established,nor has a systematic clinical research and treatment protocol. Most of the clinical reports are about the retrospective summary which lacks close observation of large samples. Besides,the combinations of the followings should be valued: TCM therapy and the modern research,macroscopic view and microscopic view,syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation. Etiology,disease location,disease property,and different syndromes should be paid attention to,as well as the relations between theory,strategies,formulas and medicinals. In the future clinical research,the followings should be done: strengthen the basic research,normalize the determination standard of the efficacy in clinical research,conduct deep discussion of treatment mechanism. By doing so,the effective formulas and medicinals for glomerular hematuria can be found out.
