An Empirical Study of the Measure of Trade Facilitation in APEC and Its Effect on China's Export

Abstract

In this paper,trade facilitation levels of countries have been measured and sorted according to global business survey data.Using the gravity model quantitatively,we analyzed the effects of the trade facilitation level of China on exports.The study shows that China's trade facilitation level is moderate and trade facilitation has more effect than tariff cuts on the growth of exports.Trade facilitation reforms are generally carried out in order to achieve the goal of trade growth.Proposals are put forward for the trade facilitation reform in China.
