Abstract
[Objective]To understand the present status of occupational hazards among enterprises in Pingdu city,so as to make feasible measures for occupational disease control and prevention.[Methods]From September 2007 to May 2009,a field survey was conducted on occupational hazards among 205 enterprises in Pingdu city.[Results]There were 205 enterprises with occupational hazards and 32 202 workers, among them 24 839 were exposed to occupational hazards(rural migrant workers accounting for 77.35%).Health examination rate of workers exposed to occupational hazard was 39.85% and that of exposed to chemical poison was 53.82%,exposed to physical factors was 22.58%,exposed to dust was 30.67%.A total of 54 cases of occupational diseases were diagnosed during 2004-2009,among them 50 cases were pneumoconiosis(mining silicosis 48 cases, foundry silicosis 1 case, welder pneumoconiosis 1 case;PhaseⅠ29 cases,PhaseⅡ 17 and Phase Ⅲ 4).4 cases were leukemia(1 from machinery,2 from electronic and 1 from furniture industry). So far 6 cases died of occupational diseases, including 4 silicosis and 2 leukemia.[Conclusion]The status of occupational hazards among enterprises in Pingdu city is relatively serious.Mining is the high risk industry in silicosis.
