Breeding of High Quality and High Yield Spring Millet Variety Gonggu No.75 and Its Cultivation Technique

Abstract

The spring millet variety Gonggu No.75 was bred by crossing between 8132 and Gonggu No.63.It had the characteristics of high yield,stable yield,high qualtiy and good palatability.The average yield was 5 559.0 kg/hm2 in the national regional test of spring millet in Northeast China from 2008 to 2009,which increased by 8.71%.It was identified by the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center in 2010.
