Abstract
A new coating, Ni-Co-Mn alloy electroplating, was proposed for diamond tools. The composition of electroplating solution was presented. Contrasted to Ni-Co and Ni-Mn coating, the Ni-Co-Mn alloy coating had higher hardness and higher plasticity and much lower cobalt content. Thus the new layer was more prospective coating to replace the Ni-Co or Ni-Mn alloy coatings for diamond tools.
