Abstract

As a maverick novelist and poet in the history of modern Chinese literary,Fei Ming wrote novels with the artistic conception of poetry while revealing,in poems, the mental distress of the human beings of the real world of anguish. A critical reading of his poems and novels usually leads to the discovery that there are inherent relations between his poems and novels in three aspects: 1) relationship between his works and reality as well as,consequently, his style thus formed; 2) the philosophical footnote to his poems and novels and the fact that his novels are visual interpretation of his views on literature and life; and 3) the aesthetic emotional experience expressed in his poems and novels, such as sadness, loneliness and solitude.
