Abstract
The characteristics of embedded controlling software are analyzed and are the methods of embedded software test are studied.Then,a kind of design and realization method for the simulation software which will be used to construct the software test bed for Intel 80C196 single chip microcomputer is described in this paper.The basic functions and architecture of the simulation software are also discussed in detail.The technical difficulties and the design details are also analyzed.A β version of the simulation software is presented in this paper.On the basis of above,the realization of the test′s example and peripherals of the single chip microcomputer which will be the foundations of the 80C196 software test bed is also studied.
