Description of Multivariate Survival Period and Prediction of Multivariate Survival Rate with Cox Regression

Objectives To introduce the description of multivaiate survival period and prediction of multivariate survival rate with Cox regression.Methods Basic principles of survival function and linear inerpolation are introduced.The methods are illustrated by an example and the Cox regression procedure of SPSS 8 0.Results The table of comparison between survival period at mean of two covariates and Kaplan-Meier's and prediction of a case's survival rate are shown.Conclusion When is made the survival analysis involving in multivariates,it is objective and directive to use the method to make description and prediction.
