Abstract
Through the hardness, impact toughness, tensile strength, yield strength and metallographic analyses,we research the effects of heat treatment process on microstructure and mechanical properties of die material H13 steel. The results indicate that H13 steel can make the hardness meet large extrusion die design requirement(44~46) HRC after pre-heating quenching at(1030~1050) ℃×1 d,oil cooling and twice tempering at(600~620) ℃×1.5 d,and the microstructure is more uniform and stabile, and the comprehensive properties is optimum.
