Abstract

The square of city is an important social public space where the people assemble,gather and socially communicate,it contains cultural connotation of one region and reflects special characteristics of one city.Taken the cultural square as the example,we analyze the existing problems in the development of the square of the city.From the theory and method of landscape ecology,we provide some references for the design of the city square.
