Study on function of network topology based on NS-2

This paper carries on the performance parameter to the different network topology the extraction,analysis and comparison,which obtains the respective network performance.Uses network simulator version 2 to simulate the star,ring and network three kind of topology structure,gains our.tr document through the transmission to the data stream,obtains the performance parameter information which using the C + + language write program from our.tr document needs.The data transmission speed of star topology is quick,the reliability is lower;however,the network topology data transmission speed is slow,the reliability is highest;and the ring topology is situated between both of them.
