Application Research of Reactive Emulsifier in Synthesis of Styrene-acrylic Emulsion

Abstract

Styrene-acrylic emulsion was prepared with pre-emulsion-seed method.Effects of allyloxy nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate(DNS-86),allyloxy hydroxypropyl sulfonate sodium(HAPS) and n-decyl sodium sulfate(DESS) on the emulsion properties were analyzed.The results show that: effect of mixed emulsifier is good in respects of viscosity,water absorption and solid content,when DNS-86:HAPS:DESS is 8︰3︰1.5,viscosity,water absorption and the solid content are relatively good,and the water resistance is also very good.
