Abstract

One of the major functions of the WTO is to organize and promote the multilateral trade negotiations.The Doha Round is the first round of multilateral trade negotiation after the WTO was established.However,the Doha Round negotiation broke several times since it was launched,which has become one of the biggest troubles for the WTO.The authors firstly reviews the major setbacks of Doha Round Negotiation,then analyzes the main causes for breaking up of Doha Round Negotiation,and finally gives some suggestions and forecasts on the reform and development trends of WTO.
