Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the significance of high risk HPV(HR-HPV) detection in predicting residual disease or recurrence after cervical conization for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods:Clinical data of 44 patients undergoing second operation of CIN from April 1,2004 to May 30,2009 were analyzed retrospectively, and all the patients accepted HR-HPV detection within six months before first operation. Results:Logistic regressive model analysis showed that there was no correlation between age, times of delivery, modes of cervical conization, glands involvement or not, lesion degrees of CIN and residual disease/recurrence or not after cervical conization, the value of HR-HPV≥500 was a high risk factor for residual disease or recurrence.Conclusion:HR-HPV detection is an effective method to predict residual disease or recurrence after cervical conization for CIN,which plays an important role in diagnosis and treatment of cervical diseases.
