Analysis on the Performance of Low-voltage Power Line Communication Based on OFDM Technique

Abstract

The application of OFDM to Power Line Communications(PLC) has been a focus in PLC research.Most of the problems in the PLC technology have been solved by OFDM.In this paper,some problems about the high speed PLC technology are discussed,then the basic principle of the key technique,OFDM technique,for power line communication is introduced.Furthermore,the application of OFDM for improving the power line communication systems is analyzed in detail.And it is concluded that OFDM is a suitable technique for the power line communication.
