Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship between hepatic cirrhosis degree and total cholestero level, and to comprehend the effect of liver function damage in hepatic cirrhosis blood fat change. Methods The total cholestero content were compared between 52 patients and 28 healthy male. Results Compare with control group, total cholesterol level of hepatic cirrhosis patient obviously decreased. And inverse correlation presented between the total cholesterol level and Hepatic cirrhosis patient's Child-pugh score. Conclusion The change of total cholesterol level of hepatic cirrhosis patient should be related to liver function damage degree, and liver function damage is an important reason that makes cholest abnormal.Total cholesterol determination is helpful in prognostic evaluation of patients with diversity extent hepatic cirrhosis.
